*Please note in the directions that the main street of Hillsborough is Churton Street. From downtown Carrboro its name changes from Greensboro Street to Chapel Hill-Hillsborough Road and is also known as Old Highway 86.

From RDU-Aiport - approximate distance: 25 miles

1. From the airport, take I-40 West towards Durham/Chapel Hill.
2. About 22 miles on I-40, take exit 261, towards Hillsborough.
3. And the end of the exit ramp, take a right (going north) at the stop sign onto Old 86, Chapel Hill-Hillsborough Road.
4. Continue about 1.8 miles, under the I-85 overpass.
5. Turn right at the light at the car wash onto James Freeland Memorial Drive. First right on Daisy Street, under the Big Barn.

From Durham - approximate distance: 12 miles

1. From Durham take I-85 South towards Burlington, NC.
2. About 10 miles on I-85, take exit 164 to Hillsborough.
3. From the exit ramp, take a right (going north) onto S. Churton Street.
4. Turn right at the light at the car wash onto James Freeland Memorial Drive. First right on Daisy Street, under the Big Barn.
   

From UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina - approximate distance: 11 miles

1. Take Columbia Street going north. This turns into Airport Road and then NC-86 towards Hillsborough.
2. You will reach Interstate 40 at the end of Chapel Hill. Take I-40 West.
3. About 4.5 miles on I-40, take exit 261, the Hillsborough exit.
4. Take a right (going north) towards Hillsborough at the stop sign onto Old 86, Chapel Hill-Hillsborough Road. Go about 1.8 miles, under the I-85 overpass.
5. Turn right at the light at the car wash onto James Freeland Memorial Drive. First right on Daisy Street, under the Big Barn.

From downtown Carrboro, North Carolina - approximate distance: 10 miles

1. Take North Greensboro Street northbound, going towards Hillsborough. This is also called Old 86.
2. Keep on Old 86 all the way to Hillsborough. You will pass under I-40. Continue about 1.5 miles.
3. Turn right at the light at the car wash onto James Freeland Memorial Drive. First right on Daisy Street, under the Big Barn.

From Burlington, Greensboro, and the Triad area

1. Take Route 40/85 east towards Raleigh.
2. Exit left on I-85 towards Durham at the Interstate 40/85 split.
3. Take the Hillsborough exit 164.
4. Turn left onto Churton, and go under the I-85 overpass.
5. Turn right at the light at the car wash onto James Freeland Memorial Drive. First right on Daisy Street, under the Big Barn.

From Danville, Virginia

1. Take NC 86 South for about 45 minutes.
2. Once you enter Hillsborough, NC Old 86 is also called Churton Street. You will pass by the Orange County Court House and over the Eno River and come to a stop light where NC Old 86 turns left. STAY STRAIGHT on Churton Street.
3. The first shopping area will be on your left at the next light.
4. Turn left at the light at the car wash onto James Freeland Memorial Drive. First right on Daisy Street, under the Big Barn.
